Welcome to our parish website

We are delighted to be able to provide this venue and we sincerely hope that you are able to find the information that you are looking for.

We are blessed to have three fine priests available to minister to the needs of our parishioners in Saugus and North Revere as well as other surrounding communities from which they come. Rev. Daniel P. McCoy ordained in 2003 currently serves as the administrator of both Saint Margaret Parish and Blessed Sacrament Parish. He is assisted by Rev. Michael J. Kearney, Parochial Vicar, ordained in 1982. Fr. Mike, as he likes to be called, served as a pastor for many years but has stepped down in order to pursue a degree in Mental Health Counseling. The parishes are also blessed by the added presence of a Senior Priest in Residence, namely, Rev. Albert J. Sallese. Fr. Al is a retired priest of the archdiocese but he continues to function in every capacity afforded to that of an active priest without the burden of administrative tasks. For those with East Boston roots, Fr. Al is a familiar face as he served for many years in East Boston as a young curate and later as pastor.

Our two parishes are very distinct in their traditions and manners of worship, but as much as we acknowledge these differences among us, we recognize the need to cooperate in various ministries and outreach to the people of God’s kingdom here on earth. We’re proud of our heritage, our churches, and we love the Church; the Catholic faith to which we belong. Therefore, everything we do, every liturgy we celebrate, every service we provide, is done in the spirit and mission of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Please know that no matter who you are and where you come from, Catholic or non-Catholic; we are ready and eager to welcome you to our parishes.
